Bright Start Montessori offers a nurturing and engaging learning environment in Gibraltar where children are encouraged to grow through curiosity, confidence, and guided discovery. Following the Montessori approach, the nursery focuses on supporting each child’s natural interests while helping them develop independence, creativity, and a genuine love for learning.

The staff are first class – extremely knowledgeable, professional and place the well-being of the children at the core of everything they do. My daughter has thrived under the guidance and loving care of the incredibly hard working and nurturing staff. The school consistently provides both indoor and outdoor stimulating and challenging learning activities for the children.

The staff regularly communicate with parents and children’s learning and development is recorded on an educational app/online learning journal which provides photos and write-ups of fun activities that the children carry out independently or as part of a group. The nursery regularly organises educational outdoor trips. People who help us in the community (policemen etc) visit and give talks to the children on site. We have seen significant progress in my daughter’s phonic and numeracy skills, and we are so impressed with the level of vocabulary that she uses in conversation.

The nursery fully supports personal development, teaching about kindness, feelings, and diversity through celebrating different cultures and religious festivals. The staff have high expectations of behaviour. The leadership of the nursery have clear policies and procedures which are communicated with parents and consistently implemented.

Our daughter always leaves nursery happy, clean and full of exciting stories. The nursery is always spotless, and the food provided is varied, home-made and of excellent quality. We cannot fault the relentless drive for excellence by the management and staff. Bright Start Montessori is simply the best! "
