Taking place from Friday 15 May to Sunday 17 May 2026 at Europa Pool, the festival arrives earlier than ever before, perfectly timed to kick off the summer season with energy and purpose. From the moment it begins, the atmosphere will be filled with colour, creativity, and a strong sense of community.
The weekend opens on Friday afternoon with a vibrant launch celebration, where the much-loved Pre-Loved Fashion Show once again takes centre stage, showcasing how style and sustainability can go hand in hand. Alongside it, the community cycle ride returns with an exciting twist, a new musical element along the route that transforms the experience into a moving celebration, setting a lively and memorable tone for the days ahead.
As the festival unfolds across Saturday and Sunday, visitors can expect a rich and varied programme designed to appeal to all ages. Live music and entertainment will fill the air, while expanded pool activities ensure there’s plenty to keep younger visitors engaged and smiling. Throughout the site, sustainability takes centre stage, with interactive workshops and talks offering practical insights into greener living, alongside eco-business showcases and demonstrations of innovative solutions shaping a more sustainable future.
A brand-new educational event area adds another dimension to this year’s festival, inviting visitors to explore ideas more deeply through short presentations, eco-product launches, and hands-on sessions. It’s a space designed for discovery, where learning feels accessible and inspiring. Families will also find plenty to enjoy, including storytelling sessions with local authors bringing children’s books to life, a gentle and engaging way to introduce younger audiences to environmental awareness.
Wandering through the festival, visitors will discover a vibrant eco market filled with sustainable brands and locally made products, offering everything from thoughtful gifts to everyday eco-friendly alternatives. A wide variety of food and drink options will be available, and relaxed seating areas provide the perfect setting to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the laid-back festival atmosphere.
Whether you come for the music, the cycling, the family-friendly experiences, or simply to explore new ideas, Eco Festival 5 offers something for everyone. It’s a celebration not just of sustainability, but of the people and community driving positive change in Gibraltar.
Tickets are available now online at buytickets.gi and will also be available at the venue, subject to availability. Children under three can attend free, making it an accessible and inclusive event for families.
With five years of growth behind it and an even bigger vision ahead, Eco Festival 5 is set to be a highlight of Gibraltar’s calendar, a weekend where fun, inspiration, and sustainability come together in perfect harmony.
