Rutita del Beef 2026: Gibraltar’s Ultimate Beef Tapas Route Returns to Chatham Counterguard
After the resounding success of the Tuna & Tapas Rutitas, Gibraltar’s ever-popular culinary route returns with a rich new theme guaranteed to tempt food lovers across the Rock. This March, it’s time for Rutita del Beef, a three-day celebration dedicated entirely to creative, flavour-packed beef tapas.

Taking place on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of March, Rutita del Beef will once again transform Chatham Counterguard into a buzzing hub of tasting, socialising and friendly competition. Over the course of the weekend, each of the seven participating restaurants along the route will present its own signature beef tapa, served during both lunch and dinner. Expect bold interpretations, slow-cooked classics, modern twists and plenty of culinary flair as chefs showcase their creativity with one of the world’s most beloved ingredients.
The concept remains simple and part of the charm. Diners begin by collecting a Rutita Passport from any of the participating venues before making their way along the route, sampling each beef creation and gathering stamps at every stop. As the flavours build and favourites emerge, guests are invited to cast their vote for the standout dish of the weekend. Once completed, passports can be submitted at the My Wines letter box to officially take part in the experience.
Of course, there is more than just bragging rights at stake. Everyone who completes the full route will be entered into a draw to win €350 in vouchers, redeemable across all seven participating venues. It’s a prize that promises many more memorable meals long after the last tapa has been served.
